Welcome! I created this website to share my research interests, ideas, goals, and results with fellow scientists and curious minds alike. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to talk to me about my research!

I have just begun my PhD in Vision Science at UC Berkeley under the supervision of David Whitney!

News

My first first-author paper has been published in Neuroscience of Consciousness (here)! This is research I completed with Jan Brascamp at MSU in collaboration with Lua Koenig and Biyu He at NYU, funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation to study theories of conciousness in visual perception.

I presented a talk at the Berkeley Public Library as part of a program to make science accessible to the public! I talked about my change blindness research and the incredible mystery of visual perception! The talk was recorded and can be found here beginning at 29:20.

My VSS 2023 abstract has been published in Journal of Vision (screenshot below). You can access it here!

I presented a poster on my work about background context in object recognition (under the supervision of Dr. Frank Tong) at the Vision Sciences Society Annual Meeting this May!

I also presented some change blindness demos I created with Dr. Jan Brascamp at Demo night!

I presented a poster on my pupillometry work (under the supervision of Dr. Brascamp) at the Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting!
